Coming through the orioket ground Redmond's colors were seen In front, and although Gillet rode all he knew how Tiritea had a bit to spare, and landed a victory by a conple of lengths, Belle about the same distance away third, followed by Awarna, Norton, and Unity. M'Leau came to grief at the gorse fence. Coming out of the ciicket ground Langley was still in the lead, with Egmont, Spreydon, and Lord Cliir close at his heels, bnt the latter blnndered when crossing the next fence. Going round the back of the stretch Spreydon joined issue with the leader, and a splendid race ensued, resulting in a win for Spreydon by a short head, Egmoat two lengths away third. Prioress led off, followed by Waiuko, almost pulling the boy oat of the saddle, and the reeti of the field in a cluster, Going ronnd the bend Prioress stopped, leaving Wainkn. the lead, bnt Lorelei rushed to the front and flattered her backers for a time. Going round the bend Artist and Twist went up, passed the lender?, and raced into tbe straight. A slashing finish ensued in favor of Irish Twia\ FINAL STEEPLECHASE. The race was marred by an accident in the early pars of the race, when Prospect, Dante, and Birney fell at the first hurdle. Langlev led the field past the stand, followed by Epmont, Hop Bitters, and Wariti, with Raven some distance behind. This was the order of the race for a great parb of the distance, and although Spreydon joined issue with the leader the latter had too mnch foot, and landed tbe stoke by a couplo of lengths.
