The first part consisted of an , Instructive address— or, ratber, reading— ' being a sketch of the development] of .Scottißh-hnmorßtirl" its' causes, copiously interspersed with anecdotes (some of them chestnut-Ton'g'elbce'r.pened) delivered in Mr Bentley'a beßt Scotch accent, which kept the andlence in roars of laughter jfor over an hour. The second part consisted of "A trip to Scotland," iljas"Crated J with "very " fi_e~"lirnellg*?t viiws of Scotia's mosb delightful scenery, diving opportunity for the Misses Blaiey and Best to distinguish themselves in Scottish voealism. The entertainment was pronounced by the public to be an excellent) one, having sn educational -trend as Jell as being highly entertaining.
