ENGLAND V. SOUTH AUSTRALIA. [PER PEESS ASSOCIATION.- COPYRIGHT ] (Received April 2, 10.30 p.m.) Adelaide, Tueeday, The Englishmen wound up their tour to-day by administering a handsome beating to the South Australians on the ground where they met with their first defeat during the tonr. The weather Mas sultry, and the wicket remained good to the lost. The scoring while the lecal men were in was slow, as they were apparently merely trying to keep their wickets np for a draw, and moreover they hnd to contend with very fine fielding. The only period of the play worthy of notice was when Hill and Dyer were together, The former again batted in dashlncr style, and gave an excellent display.
