Now Zealand fine mutton and good bee£ tallows are worth respectively 21s and 223 pevowt. Frozen Meat.— Tho mutton market is weak. Canterbury mutton Is worth 3Jd per lb and Wellington 2|d per Ib. The lamb market is weak, Prime Now Zealand lambs are worth per carcase 4Jd per lb. Wool.— The sales closed firmly this day. Sinco tho close of last sales sound, merino superior, greasy merino medium, and inferior fine greasy orossbred, and medium greasy crossDied are par to 4tt per lb higher ; sound merino medium and inferior are id to Id per lb higher, and ooarsa greasy orosabred is id oerlb higher. Tho market is easier for clothing washed and combing washed. Crossbred fine washed and crossbred fine scoured are neglected. Other descriptions are unchanged. The total quantity sold during tho past sales is 265,030- bales, of which 132,000 bales have been taken for tho 1 -" Continent and 23,000 bales for America. It is estimated that 19,000 bales have been held over for future disposal.
