The balance-sheet of the Bank of Australasia shows a prt-fi!/ of £57,600, of which £9600 U cirrisd forward. The deposfts amonnt to £12,700,000, public securities and cash items, £5,072,000; and advancer, bills receivable, and other assets, £11,910,000. The directors report that the business of the baDk, considering tb.9 circumstances of the colonies, has been well maintained, and they hope to see the connection increased If the current season is favorable.
