The following players will represent the Napier Cricket Club against the United at Karndon to-day :— Hill, Wolstenbolme, White, J. C. Martin, J. H. Martip, Gardiner, FreemaD, Walton, Chapman, Laws, nnd Ryan. Emergencies, R. Aeb« croft, S. White, and P. Ashoroft Any of the above nniible to play ate requested (o notify the secretary. The drag wi 1 leave the Masonic at 1,30 sharp. The County and Waiapn teams will play on the Recreation to-day, commencing at 2 o'clock. Afternoon tea will be provided by the ladies. The following will represent the United in their match against Napier at Farndon todny :— Lnsk, Hnghes (2), Cato (3), Lndbrook, Bradley, Shea, Hawke, and Marshall. 'Bus will leave Masonic at) 1,20. A Preia Association message states that Otago has picked the following cricket team ngalnati Fiji :— Bilker, Seat, B. Boddington, Clarke, Carrie, Clayton, Fisher, Hope, Parker, Rattry, and Kinvip. The team of Fiji cricketers Is oompOßed of the following players -.—The Hone. J. C. Collins and J. S. Udal, Messrs H. M. Scott, A. B. Jaske, K. Caldwell, J. M'Owan, W. J. Groom, Ratn Cadnvn iieva, Ratn Temsia, Ratn Tal Vann Van. Ratn Aatvolovo, Rntn Tnl Salvan, and Ratn JSplll, The first four natives are Ban- chiefs, and the last two Rewa chiefs. The beat bats amongst the native mgmbera are Ratu Cadava Leva (who is also a fnßt ronnd-arm bowlerV Ratn Eplll, and Ratn Naivolovo. Tai Vann Van is the native fast bowler of the team. The Fijlana, thongh no'.ed for being excellent men in the field, are not quite so successful with tbe bat, the team rolyirg principally on tbe European members in that department of tbe game. The Hon. J. C. Collins, who 1b considered the best all-round mnn the visitors have brought with them, was offered a place by Mr W. G. Grnce in tbe English team that visited Anstralia in 1872.
