All Ponies to be measured beloro starting. Previous performance! of tho Hones to be given at time of Nomination, also Colors of the Riders. All Horses must bo ridden and driven out. All protests to be accompanied by a fee of 2 bovb, to be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. No protest will bo received unless made before the rider or driver leaves th scales, except in the case of fraud. All disputes, objections, and claims arising ouh of the Racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, whose decision shall hn final, and Bhall not do questioned in any Court of Law. Entries only received on this condition. Nominators must state the bona fldo owners of horses. To bo run under tho Rules of tho Hawke's Bay Metropolitan Trotting Club.
