PROJECTED DEPARTURES.
i Wairarapa. 8.5., for Melbourne and Southern | ports, 19th May. Talune, as., for Sydney and Northern ports, The 3.5. Southern Cross, which arrived here on Saturday evening, got to Wellington on Sunday at 5.10 p.m. The To Anau arrived on the same day at 11 a.m. The s.B. Ohau was due from Timaru last night. Aaaheha3 a large loud the tide will not allow her to come inside till about 3 o dock this afternoon. The Shaw, Savill. and Albion Company's 8.8. Rangatira is due in Wellington from Auckland to-day, and leaves there for this port to-morrow, arriving here on Thursday. From this port she takes a large amount of frozen meat and any general cargo offering. The Tyser steamer Star of England is duo towards the end of this week also to load meat from here. The brigantine Lady Mabel will sail for the Thames to-day if the wind is favorable. At the Thames she loads timber for Melbourne. The Wairoa bar is reported as shallow and a heavy sea breaking on the beach, and in consequence the departure of the Te Kapu Is postponed awaiting a more favorable report.
