London, November 20. The storm was acoompaDied by a heavy fall of snow, and In Essex the snow drifts were six feed deepi The severity of the weather disorganised the railway traffic, and completely stopped the Channel steamer traffic. Eight Hastings fishiug boats were wrecked. The storm was also felt on the French coast, where several vessels were wrecked, resulting in the loss of upwards of 100 lives, S. M. J. Woods has been elected captain of the Somerset eleven, Hewitt baviog resigned. At a lively meeting of shareholders in the British Broken Hill Company the resolutions of which notice was given at Monday's meeting were carried, with only two dissentients. The discussion of the report and accoants was adjourned till May. Mr James Macandrew, chairman of the company, announced that the London board would resign.
