ESTIMATES FOK 1893-94. In laying npon tho table the estimates for the year 1893-94, the Chairman said he| was pleased to state that they were Blightly less than for the preceding year; The snm required was £335 less than last year, and tbe levies upon the local bodieß wonld be at the rate of only one-fiftieth of a penny in tbe £1 instead of one- thirtieth, as last year. No worthy case had been refnsed relief, but the Board had stamped upon tbe loafer element, The only district in which the estimated expenditure showed an increase was Patangata County, which formerly used to do with £100, bnt this year reqnired £210. VOUCHERS. Vouchers to the amount of £111 14s 3d were passed for payment, and the Board adjourned.
