Calcutta, August 28. The Ameer is awaiting British advice and help in the Pamirs. August 29. It is reported tbat there are three distinct Russian detachments now in the Pamirs. The Indian Government Is ittsisting (bat the Ameer shall refrain from coercing tbe frontier tribes. The Hacaras have inflicted another defeat on the Ameer's troops.
