A Maori named Atarn, for furiously driving while drank, was fined £3 and costs. J. Jensen was fined Os and oosts for allowing several head of cattle to be ac large. There was a special meeting of the Borough Council last night, to pass n special order altering the boundaries of , Beach-road. There were present the Mayor and Crs. Faulkner, Neal, Wols- j man, M'Vay, Cohen, and Cranby. The object of tho alteration was to out from < :hu road the strip of gronnd in front of the Hawke's Bay Club and the properties of Messrs Hlndmarah, Curlyou, and Holder.
