At least, " everybody says so," and "what everybody says must be truo," and if we are not to be insanely sceptical and reject all evidence it is certain that "them sjierrils" need exorcism. _ A correspondent who subscribes himself "Scotus" is of this opinion, and he lias invented the following form of conjuration, which is warranted to lay any Napier ghust if repeated in its hearing :—
