CRICKET.

A Cup match between the first eleven and the next fifteen of the Napier Club was played on the Napier Recreation Ground on Saturday. Owing to the club having to put three teams in the field the " eleven " were only able to muster eight men, and the fifteen had two absentees. Pram and Freeman played steady cricket for 37 (not out) and 21 respectively, while Howard also contributed double Bgures. For the fifteen Barton played well for 17, none of the other batsmen being able to make nny stand. Freeman secured six wickets, Mountier four, and Edwards three.
