ANOTHER VIEW.

Sin,— l have Leen watching the correspondence that has heen carried on in the Herald in reference to funds being raised for what is known as the Irish Land League, or as some term it, " The Dynamite Organisation." As charity should always begin at home, I trust I may lio excused as a Freethinker to suggest that some of the fun :ls collected towards the maintenance of the League ■would he well applied in rendering assistance to the few'humlred industrious settlers who have heeu rendered homeless and reduced to penury by the late fire at Norscwood. Possibly, as they are a lawabiding and industrious class, the rules of the League may not permit such assistance to be given, as Christianity in the nineteenth century is not' that of the five lirst centuries. — I am, &c, , A Freethinker \nd an Irishman.
