Thursday, November 24. The Council met at 2.30 p.m. SEAMEN'S PETITION. The Public Petitions Committee reported that they had no recommendation to make relative to the petition of the seamen who prayed for the extension of "the franchise. ' . . BILLS. The Municipal Corporations Act Amendment Bill was read a first time. - The Pharmacy Act Amendment Bill was read a second time, and referred to a Select Committee. The Council at 3.5 adjourned till next day. •
