The Public Petitions Committee reported that they had no recommendation to make relative to the petition of the seamen who prayed for the extension of "the franchise. ' . . BILLS. The Municipal Corporations Act Amendment Bill was read a first time. - The Pharmacy Act Amendment Bill was read a second time, and referred to a Select Committee. The Council at 3.5 adjourned till next day. •
