jf ltccy flitr. PEACOCK'S LUBRICANT SHEEP DIP £3 PER THOUSAND GALLONS. At SO PEACOCK'S IMPROVED DIP, £3 10s, Containing a lar/;o proportion of Glycerine, and guaranteed to bo entirely free from soda oraime.both of which are largely used in some oFtho dips now in tho market, and more especially in those sold in tho form of a powder, 3hich have tho effect of leaving the wool dry and harsh, causing the winter rains to permeate the skin, being thus a frequent source of lungworm with hoggets in low condition. Owing to a long range of experiments carefully carried out for some years on my own flock my Dip is now as near perfection as it is possible to obtain, and during the last threo years it lms given general satisfaction, and obtained a large number of Testimonials from thoroughly reliable and practical Flockowners and Sheep Inspectors. See my cir. culars. This Dip dojs not kill so quickly as the socalled non-poispnous sorts, but is permanent in ita effects, 1 saving the wool soft, white, and lustrous, and tlroroughly cleansing the skin. Being much heavier than water it is desirable tho Dip should bo well stirred up from tho bottom before each lot of sheep aro run through. For this purpose a common vat rake is the best, which is made with a piece of board 9 incites long with an auger hole through tho centro for pole 8 or 9 feet long. The l)ip is very easily mixed in cold water, nd is packed in Sealed Tins containing 3 gallons and Drums of i and 5 gallons, with printed directions for use on each tin. I Kach gallon will chargo 100 gallons of wntor. Price 6s and 7s per gallon. Special quotations r largo quantities. , DAVID Jt"EA 'OCX. ' A gents for Hawke's Bay :— KINROSS & CO., Port Ahuriki. TESTIMONIALS. Marton, 181h October, 1881. David Peacock, Esq., Homewood— Dear Sir,— l have examined several flocks of sheep that have been dressed in your new Dip and have much pleasure in testifying to its efficacy in destroying both Ticks and Lice. It is also most benoflcial to the wool, leaving it beautifully white and soft.— l am, yours faithfully, Robert K. Simpson, Inspector of Sheop. Rangitikei Junction, Bonny Glen, Ist Septembor, 1881. Mr Peacock— Dear Sir,— Your Dip is by far the best and cheapest I havo overused. I does not stain or make !ho wool dry and harshli ke many of tho English dips, but puts on a beautiful gloss, and cleanses away all filth, killing all insect lifo, and is lasting in its effects.— Daniel Stevens. Bonny Glen, Rangitikei, August 30, 1881. D. Peacock, Esq., Marton— Dear Sir,— I this year tried your Dip, and found it very efficacious for Lice and Ticks. It is much cheaper than any other I ever used, and leaves tho wool and skin beautifully white and soft, without staining.— Yours truly, Jno. P. Lethbridge. Mr Peacock— Dear Sir,— We dipped our sheep In March last in your dipping mixture, and found it to answer well, killing el tho Lice and Ticks, leaving tho wool bean.if ully soft, white, and oily, and thoroughly el 3 vnslng the skin.
