Sir George Trevelyan has addressed a letter to the papers in which he expresses strong disapproval of certain clauses in the Irish Crimes Bill.
Lord George Hamilton, First Loril of the Admiralty, with a party of delegates to the Imperial Conference, has gone on a visit to Portsmouth to inspect the dockyard and warships in the course of construction.
Sir Henry Holland, Secretary for the Colonies, ■will- give a banquet to tho conference delegates on the 29th inst. The Prince of Wales will- be present. •
