Mararoa, this day, nt 1 p.m. For Gisborno, Auckland, and Sydney, por s.s. Mannpouri this day, at 7.30 p.m. For the Sandwich Islands, Amorica, West Indies, tho United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c, via San Francisco, on Saturday Ist January at 2 p,m. As tho Ist of January, will bo a publlp holiday tho mail will closo for registered Jpttors and money orders on Friday, 31st insr,,.at 0 p.m. Ordinary corrcspondonco and newspapers may bo posted up till tho usual hours ; on Saturday (which will bo notified later on) but the oliico will not bo opcnocl on Now Year's Day. This mail will bo duo in London on 7th February. Saturday, 25tli inst., and Saturday, Ist proximo, uoiug Post-oflicc holidays, all Postoffices will bo closed, nnd on tho 27th mst. (for Boxing Day) tho Post-offlco will bo opened in all branccos from 9to 10 a.m. On tho ovqnjngs of tho 21th and 31st instant all receiving and posting boxes will bo cleared, Mails usually despatched on Saturdays (Christmas Day and Now Year's Day) will be closed tho preceding ovenings at 7,30. On tho 27th (for Boxing Day) thoro will bo tho usual despatch of mails up till 10 o'oloch a.m., and a morning dolivory by lottor carriers. On tho ovenings of the 21th and 31st insts. thero will bo a delivery ovor tho counter at Chief Post-011100 botwocn 7 and 8 o'clock, Tho privalo box room will bo Jpft open till 0 p.m., except on Sundays', when ifc will be closed nt 5.30 p,m.
