Mr R. Wellwood will sell at Beeoroft's repository, Hastings, this afternoon, a number of hacks and harness horses. Messrs Brooking and St. Clair will continue to-morrow morning their .sale of the furniture and effects of Dr Matthews. Mr H. Williams, ironmonger and seedsman, Hastings-street, advertises vegetable and flower seeds from the celebrated nursery of Law, Sornner and Co., Melbourne. Some particulars are , inserted respecting Rowatt's patent Lome or split wick anucapnic lamps, manufactured by Messrs T. Rowatt and Sons, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. A meeting of non-commissioned Volunteer officers will be held this evening at ,the Caledonian Hotel. Mr H. G. Spackman, Shakespeare-road, has for sale an upright iron grand piano by Brinsmead. _ Mr H. Williams, Hastings-street, advertises the star hand grenade fire extinguisher. "The Librarian" will be produced at the Theatre .Royal this evening. Several new advertisements of vacant situations are inserted in the "wanted" column on the front page.
