[by telegraph.] Ciiristcjturch, Thursday. The North Canterbury Jockey Club's Autumn meeting was held at Rangiora to-day. The weather was fine, and the meeting passed off successfully. The two principal events resulted as follows :— HANDICAP HURDLE EAOB, Of 30 soys ; distance, 2 miles ; over eight flights of hurdles. Mr J. Wild's b m Polly, 6yrs, 9st (Skinner) 1 Mr J. Forward's b g Royalty, aged, lOst 101 b (A. Lightford) 2 Mr L. Markey's g h Rouser, aged, 9st lOst (Rudings) , 3 —Mr A. W. Dillon's Ida also ran. NOBTH CANTERBURY AUTUMN HANDICAP, Of 60 soys ; U mile. Mr F. Busch's b m Farewell, aged, Bst 31b (Stratford) 1 Mr M. Duncan's g m Castillo filly, 3yrs, 7st 91b (Huxtable) 2 Mr R. Alexander's eh h Cranmer, 3yrs, 7st 41b (White) 3 — Mata also ran. Spec was scratched.
