MAKIST BROTHERS' SCHOOL.

The annual distribution of prizes in connection with the above school took place yesterday morning. The Rev. Father Casßidy presided, and in opening the proceedings congratulated the prizetakers upon their success, and hoped the encouragement given by their teachers would prove a powerful incentive to renewed efforts during the coming year. He paid a tribute to the efficiency and zeal of the Brothers, and hoped their pupils would by their good conduct prove that the lessons were not unproductive. On behalf of the Brothers, the Rev.
