The annual distribution of prizes took place at the Spit School yesterday afternoon. The Rev. D. Sidey delivered an appropriate address, and then proceeded to distribute the prizes. Standard III.— I, Herbert Wilkie ; 2, Robert Young and Bella Le Q.uesne ; 3, Robert Oliver and John Northe. Attendance (Rev. D. Sidey'a prize) — Herbert Wilkie. Sewing— l, Clara Gleadow, 80 marks ; 2, Emily Fox, 70 marks. Standard 11. —Special prize, Agnes Northe ; 1, Wm. Riddell ; 2, G. Mabbett, Christina Smith, and Wm. M'Knight. Sewing — Ada S9ymour, 100 ; Maggie Martin, 100. Attendance — Charles McCarthy, Charles Riddell. Standard I. — 1, David M'Knight and Charles Wilson ; 2, Mary Dowling and Ada Le Greyt. Attendance —Dan Cotton. Sewing — Mary Harvey, 80; May Bretsen 80 ; Ada Le Geyt, 80. Special prize awarded by Miss Kraeft — Jane Brown. Cheers were given by the children for ihe Rev. D. Sidey and the teachers ; and the children dispersed for the holidays.
