The latest authentic information fully confirms the reports that have been current of a split in the Cabinet. There is now no doubt that a rupture in the Ministry has occurred, and it is understood that Ministers only_awaifc the meeting of the Chambers, which takes place on the 23rd inst., to announce the fact. It is stated that Ministers consider that they have been treated with discourtesy and indignity hy M. Grevy, and complain of the President's interference with the official actions of his son-in-law M. "Wilson. M. Antoine, Deputy for the- City of Metz, has been arrested at the order of the Government on a charge of treason.
