Pabis, September 16. Telegrams are i© hand from Tunis announcing that the inhabitants of that city are suffering from a water famine, owing to tha recent destruction of the aqueduct by the Arabs. Further telegrams report that the Bey contemplates resigning the sovereignty of the principality, but the statement requires confirmation.

Telegrams have been received from Tunis annoucing that the necessary repairs to the city aqueduct have been completed, arid the water famine is now ended.
