No person allowed to enter a horse unless a subscriber to the race fund of at least one guinea. All protests to be entered in writing within 15 minutes of each race, together with a deposit of one guinea, to be forfeited if protest is found to be of a frivolous nature. Three horses to run in each raco, or only half the public money to be given. The decision of the Stewards in all cases of protest to be final. All nominations und subscription to bo sent in under sealed cover to the Hon. Secretary, on or before 7 p.m., December 3rd, giving age, name, and description of tho horse, also colors of the rider. Weights to be declared December 18th ; acceptances, 23rd. Hawke's Bay Jockey Club Rules will be strictly adhered to. Entries for the Handicap Hurdle, Maiden Plate, Havelock Handicap, and Railway Handicap must be made by 8 p.m. on December 10, at Mr Reynold's Exchange Hotel. Havelock. Acceptances for Handicap Hurdle, Havelock Handicap, and Railway Handicap on the day of the races in the weighing-yard. Owners of horses entering for the Handicaps must state age, pedigree, and past performances. Colors of riders to be given at time of ent ry. Weights according to the Canterbury Jockey Club. Nominations for the Woodthorpe Handicap and Handicap Hurdle Race to be made not later than 8 p.m. on November 27th. Entries close for the Maiden Plate and Welter Race December 18th, 8 p.m. Acceptances close for the Woodthorpe Handicap and Handicap Hurdle Race December 18th, 8 p.m. Threo horses to start in each race or only half the stakes will be given. All nominations, entries, and acceptances to be addressed to the Secretary of the Woodthorpe Races, Puketapu. All entries to enclose name and age of the horse, pedigree, and performances, if known, and colors of the the rider. Ali protests to be accompanied with a deposit of £1, to be forfeited if the protest be considered frivolous. All entries received must bo on the condition that all disputes shall be decided by tho Stewards, whose decision shall be final. No one allowed to enter a horse unless he is a subscriber of £1 to the race fund. The Ilawke's Bay Jockey Club rules will be adhered to as far as practicable.
