THIS is to notify that Richard Knowles Pabkebson, of Arowhenua, in tho County of Geraldine, Canterbury, New Zealand, did, on the twenty-third day of October, instant, deposit at the office of the Patent Officer, in the Colonial Secretary's Office, in Wellington, a Specification or Instrument in writing under his hand and seal, particularly describing and ascertaining the nature of the said Invention, arid in what mannor tho same is to bo performed ; and that by reason of such deposit the said Invention is protected and secured to him exclusively for the term of six'caleniiar months thence next ensuing.
