HPHE above Company, having received a 1 supply of Walker's Patent Grill Gas Cooking Stoves (the latest improvement of the same maker's stove used by Miss Fidler) are prepared to supply tho same at the following Sydney cash prices (including oven fittings) :— No. 1. Size 22 x 19 x 28 inches high, £5 5s No. 2. Size 26 x 20 x33 inches high, £7 10s and will connect from meter to stove at cost price. The consumption of gas in these stoves, as proved by Miss Fidler, is under 16 feet por hoiu-, at a cost of 2£d. The price of gas for cooking purposes is 15s per 1000 feet. The advantages derived from the use of those stoves arc : — 1. The meat or fish is perfectly free from taste or smell of gas, and also from contact with dust, cinders, or smoke. . 2. The meat retains all its juices and all dripping is saved. 3. With regard to cleanliness and saving of labor, the advantages are plain to any lady, whilst the trouble and attention required are far less than by tho ordinary method. 4. By means of these Grill Gas Cooking Stoves the process of roasting, baking, broiling, frying, boiling, and stewing can be done with a precision which cannot be attained by a common fire. 5. Five minutes' instruction is sufficient to enable any lady to conduct the cooking operations with success and certainty. 6. With gas one may have a fire at a minute's notice, and hot water at any hour, night or day.
