The Auctioneers have great pleasure in directing attention to this important Sale of pure Shorthorn Cattle. It may be mentioned that these animals have all been bred under tho immediate supervision of the Messrs Brisbane, whose now noted herd was founded some 15 years ago by a careful selection from the celebrated MOUNT DERUIMUT HERD, which has since been purchased by the Messrs Robertson Brothers, of Colac, for the sum of £27,000 for 37 head, and at their already famous annual sales the Messrs ' Brisbane have been regular buyers. Two of the sires now in use have been purchased there — viz., 3rd Earl of Derrimut and Cherry Oxford sth, for 925 and 1250 guineas respectively. The stock now to be offered will be found to be of a very choice and select character, and are all by sires of acknowledged excellence, having strains of the most prolific and fashionable blood on both sides. These grand animals will be on view till day of sale at Cobb and Co.'s Stables, Stafford' Street, where all interested in Highclass S^took are earnestly invited 'to inspect them.
