A CASE OF "BOX." Sir,— During a great part of the after noon, the public have been inconveniencec by an empty case placed in the middle o; the causeway opposite the premises of ar advertising firm. Now, this firm is quiU \ a sufficient nuisance in the newspaper! , without being one of a more tangible L kind. I saw a policeman pass this bos [ repeatedly, but he made no sign. Is this nuisance (by no means the first) to be perpetuated, and is larceny to be encouraged by the exposure of loose articles in the pnblic streets, contrary, I believe, to the Municipal laws ? The principal oi the firm alluded to is only a little man, and I doii't think the police need be afraid of him. Any way, if the nuisance continues you will hear more from An Empty Box.
