The s,s. Lady Bird, Captain Malcolm, left Port Chalmers on the sth, at 3.15 p.m. ; arrived at Akaroa on the 6fch, at S a.m. ; left at 10.15 a.m., and arrived at Lytfcelton at 2.35 p.m. ; left at 8 p.m., and arrived at Wellington on the 7th, at 2.30 p.m. ; left at 6.35 p.m., and arrived at Nelson on the Sth, at 6.30 a.m. ; left on the 9fch, at 8.15 a.m., and arrived at Wellington at 8.15 p.m. j left Wellington on the 10th at 1.40 p.m., and arrived at Napier on the 11th, at 12.30 p.m. Experienced fine weather throughout. She brought upwards of 50 tons of cargo for the port, which was lightered by the Sir Donald and Three Brothers. The Lady Bird left again last evening at 7 o'clock, for Northern ports. The s.s. Kiwi, Captain Campbell, left yesterday afternoon for Wellington. She had on board a locomotive for that port. The s.s. Rangatira, Captain Evans, is due here this morning from* Poverty Bay, and leaves again at 11 a.m. this day for Wellington. The brigantine Trevalyan Family is rapidly discharging her cargo at the breastwork. The Sir Donald and Three Brothers will discharge to-day ex Lady Bird. The Why Not and Maid of the Mill discharged yesterday ex Mendoza ; the Admiral will discharge to-day ex same slu'p.
