CRICKET.
PORANGAHAU V. WAINUI. A match was played between the above clubs last Saturday at Porangahau, which resulted in an easy victory for the former by 60 runs. Porangahau won the toss, and decided to go in, but were soon disposed of for a total of 93. Wamui then went in and made a good stand up to. lunch time; the telegraph then shewing 74 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. On re:aumingplay, the remaining wickets quickly fell, only six haying been added to the total^ score.
