THE HOSKINS DRAMATIC TROUPE.

Sir, — By the shipping report of the Daily Telegraph of this evening's issue, mention is made of the Hoskins Troupe sailing South for Christchurch Will you permit us to explain that Miss Colville, Mr Hoskins, and Mr Geddes certainly did leave for the South, but such part of the company as left were compelled to pay their own passages ; those that were unable to do so were left behind. Mr Hoskins and Mr Geddes certainly know how many blue beans make five. By inserting the above you will oblige three of the troupe who are unable to pay their way, and unfortunately are left behind. — We are, &c, Three op the Troupe. January 16, 1879.
