David Glasson was charged with having been drunk on the previous evening, and not .appearing, his bail of £1 was forfeited. THREATENING LANGUAGE. James O'Brien was required, to enter into his own recognizances of £50, to keep the peace tomrds hf,- ?&$'- Mary Jaue O'Brien, on ail infoarlpl'S/tf by her that he had threaten©* Jr. 1 f" ■ her some grievous bodily harm. A " i: >r ' Costs, £2 12s Cd. ASSAULT. An information laid by Mrs Franklin against Mrs Pratley, for an assault, was withdrawn. CIVIL CASES. John Brears appeared to a judgment summons issued against him by W. Rathbone. • Ordered to pay £1 per week, in default^ one month's imprisonment. Burslem v. Hayes : Plaintiff claimed 30s as a reward advertised for information as to horses lost or strayed. He alleged that a boy employed by him had found the cattle under his direction. Defendant stated that lie was in company with the boy at the time, and found the horse himpelf. Case dismissed, the Bench recommend- '7 ing the defendant to present the boy with. 15s for his trouble. - am
