It is again reported, as it was early in last month, that the German troops are being gathered in Alsace and Lorraine. The movements of any European fleet or army are now Avatched like moves on a chessboard. The recapture of Ardahan by the Turk's is officially confirmed. The operations there may haA'e been on a more considerable scale than has been hitherto believed. We observe that in the correspondence in The Times it is stated that before the commencement of the war the place was heldby a garrison GOOO strong.
