POST OFFICE, NAPIER.
Mails Close at the Chief Post Office as follows :— For Wellington, Southern Provinces, anil Australian Colonies, per s.a. Rotorua, this day, at 9 a.m. For Gisborne, Thames and Auckland, per s.s. Star of the South, this day, at 3 p.m. For Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland, per s s I Wanaka, this day, at 4 p.m. For Wairoa, per Manaia, this day, at 4 p.m. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c. via Suez and Brindisi, by every opportunity to Wellington, where the mails close on the Oth April. For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, via San Francisco, on Wednesday, the 4th April, at 7 p.m., per overland mail to Wellington. Money orders and registered letters will close at 5 p.m. Newspapers and book packets will close at (i p. m. Late letters for the United Kingdom, bearing- a late fee of one single rate((sd), in addition to the regular postage, will be taken up to 5.30 a.m. on the sth April. For the undermentioned places every Monday and Thursday at 5.30 a.m. :— Clfve, Hastings, Havelock, Te Aute, Kaikora, Waipawa, Waipukurau, Danevirk, Norscwood, Tahoarite, Woodville, Foxton, Palmerston, Wanganui, Taranaki, Wellington and Southern Provinces, &c, Wallingford, Porangahau, Wainui, and Castle Point.
