Miscellaneous.

The s.a. Lord Ashley, from Tauranga and Auckland may be looked for to-day, and will meet with quick despatch for Wellington and Southern ports. The schooner Colonist 6ailed for Mauawarakau on Friday night. She will load wool at that place, but we have not heard whether she will bring her cargo on to Napier or pro«oed to Wellington with it. Should tho weather prove favourable on the arrival of the Ashley, an attempt will be made to launch the Star of the South, which vessel now lies on ways and cradle ready for the first favourable opportunity.
