'On the 30th ult., Mr. Alfred Buckland ro^ ports that good fat, sheep were hrshort sap-;, ply, and realised ah advance of about 3s. per head, but those of middling quality, and store sheep, were no better worth. Messrs. Carey, Gilles, Hunter and Co. re;port.an improved demand for sheep, . and. prices have ranged a shade higher. -Halfbreds sold from 12s. to 20a. 6d. ; lambs, from 7s. to 12s. 9d.: ' ." . ..'.
