The Colonial Prize Firing. — It will be seen from telegram that Mr. Renouf of Napier has taken the third prize iv the 4th set. Napier Musical Society. — It will be seen from advertisement that the second concert of the season will be given by the above society on Tuesday next, the 10th inst. Scab and Foot-rot. — A meeting to consider the advisability of adopting measures for preventing the spread of scab and footrot, is convened for Monday next, at the Meanee Hotel. The Supreme Court will sit on the 10th instant for tbe despatch of civil and criminal business ; on the 13th, in minor sittings ; on the 13tly in bankruptcy ; ancl ou the 14th, in banco. Out-going English Mail. — We are requested by the_ Postmaster to state that all letters, &c, intended to go by the mail steamer leaving Melbourne on the 22nd instant, via Suez and Marseilles, will be despatched by 'first opportunity to Wellington.
