UPON the application of Mr. Stedman of coitnsel for the abovenamed Martin Pearse, and after reading the Petition . herein duly Verified and filed this day, it is ordered that the abovenamed Martin Pearse be adjudicated a bankrupt, pursuant to the provisions of the abovenamed Acts ; and it is further ordered that the first meeting of Creditors of the said Martin Pearse, and for proof of claims, shall take place at eleven o'clock in the forenoon of THURSDAY, the twenty-seventh day of April, 1870, at the Supreme Court Office, at Napier, aforesaid. This twentieth day of April, 1870. rrVHE Creditors of the above-named JL Bankrupt having, at the first meeting of Creditors held pursuant to the provisions of the above Acts at the Supreme Court Office, Napier, on the twentieth day of April, one thousand - eight hundred and seventy, elected Edward Lyndon, of Napier, Auctioneer, as the Trustee of the Estate of the above-named Bankrupt, and the said Edward Lyndon having accepted such Trusteeship, it is ordered that the said appointment be confirmed, and the Court doth hereby confirm the election of the said Edward Lyndon as such Trustee as aforesaid. And it is further ordered that the Bankrupt do appear at the next sittings in Bankruptcy of the Court at Napier, to pass his last examination, and, unless the Court otherwise directs, to make application for his discharge. By the Court, JOHN HARE, 245 Registrar. Waipukurau., WANTED, Several COOPERS and CARPENTERS, to make Cases and Casks, by contract, for the Waipukurau Boiling-down Establishment. Also, Some Steady Active LABOURERS and BUSHMEN. None but sober men of good character need apply. April 18, 1870. 235 WANTED, a steady, active MAN, or a MAN and his WIFE, being a suitable couple, as General Servants ; or, a middle-aged, respectable WOMAN, as Cook and General Housekeeper.
