The Waitotara Natives. — "When the Waitotara settlers returned to reoccupy their farnis, it was with the distinct understanding that above all things the turbulent Maoris who had, under Titokowaru, pluudered and murdered heretofore, were to be rigidly excluded, from again setting foot on the Waitotara Block. Government have hitherto adhered to this resolution, but it seems that now some fears are beginning to be entertained that the authorities at Patea are relaxing in their vigilance, and that a recent order, issued by Major Noake, opens a door for the return of some of the rebels.
