Eosario left Wellington last Wed. nesday for Tauranga. The s.a. Star,of the South left last WedneS' day for the coast, and will return in a few days with a cai'go of wool. The Colonial Government gunboat Sturt, Oapt. Fairchild, left last Wednesday for Wairoa, and all the military and dofenoo depots along the; coast. Mr. St. John Branigan, the Commissioner, has the use of the vessel for the purpose of inspecting those places. By the Auckland papers the ship Chile is expected there hourly.
