The s.s. Wellington, Holmes, left Auokland at 3 p.m. on the 4th inst.; had fine weather and smooth water to East Cape ; thence to I Gable End Foreland experiencing a strong southerly sea; from thence to Hawke's Bay j with fresh S.E. winds, and arrived in the roadstead at 4*45 a.m. on the 6th, and proceeded again south at I*3o p.m. same day. After her last trip up to Auokland from here, she proceeded to Wangawehi and took in a cargo of cattle for Auckland. The Star left this port for Auckland at 8 p.m. on the 6th, with a cargo of live stock. The O.S.S.N. Co.'s s.s: Phoebe, Captain Worsp, and the barque Novelty, were both to leave Sydney, for Auckland, on November Ist. The A.S.N. Co.'s s.s. Wonga Wonga was also to leave for Auckland on the 2nd. A brig and a barque were signalled at Auckland on the 4th instant, whioh turned out to be the brig Pakeha, from Adelaide, with brQadstuffs, and the barque Pride of the Thames, Captain Jenkin, from Liverpool. The Hero, s.s;, with 81 passengers and a large oargo, arrived in Auckland on the 2nd instant, from Melbourne and Sydney. The Mary Ann, schooner, Captain White, with 200 tons coals, left Newcastle for Napier on the 22nd October. The Island City, barque, had arrived at Kohimarama from Queensland, with IGO head of cattle, said to be in fine condition. The Sturt, p.s., was, on the 2nd instant, taken on the patent slip, North Shore, for the purpose of undergoing a thorough overhaul. The wharf at the entrance is not (as has been stated) ready for vessels discharging there, although the brig Maggie is temporarily lying alongside. The brigantine Esther left our waters on Sunday last, after waiting some considerable time for her cargo of wool at Blackhead, .which Bhe has now gone to take in for Wellington. The R, T. Turnbull, from London direct, bow 128 days out, has not made her appearance yet. The s.s. Keera took a cargo of cattle' from Wellington to the Manukau, and made the run in 38 hours. The Ciroular Saw Company's barque Kate Waters arrived at Auckland, from Sydney, on the 30th ult., after a passage of eleven days. The brigantine Hannah Bloomfield arrived at Auckland on the 30th instant, from Norfolk Island, after a fine run of six days.
