The Condemned Pbisoners. — We learn that warrants have arrived in Wellington for the execution of Hamiora s and Piri. Rewi and Martin have had their sentences commuted to imprisonment for life. All the West Coast prisoners are safely lodged in Dunedin gaol. Native Lands Coubt. — This Court will be opened in Napier to-day, before Judge Munro and Wiremu Hikairo, a native assessor. As, however, many of the natives concerned in the business to be brought before the Court are absent at Taupo; it will probably be adjourned for a day or two. The sittings at Waipawa are fixed for the 17th, but the adjournment of the one sitting may possibly lead to the adjournment of the other. The Diorama. — Since our last, the diorama has been exhibited three times— on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. The succession of views constituting this exhibition does not seem to lose its attractive character, if one may judge from the large audiences present on each occasion, particularly on Friday. Some of the scenes are exceedingly striking, and all are leplete with interest ; and the effect is greatly heightened by mechanical adjuncts, which seem to be better each time, as well as by the spirited musical accompaniment. It will be seen that the diorama will be exhibited once more — this evening — and that, on Wednesday and Thursday, another series of paintings will be substituted, illustrative of Milton's Paradise Lost, and which, without a doubt, will be well worth seeing.
