Mr. Yogel has arrived in Wellington from Auckland via the West Coast. Napier Athenaeum. — We remind our readers of the lecture to be delivered this evening, in the Athenteum, by Mr. Marshall. Napier Land and Building Society No. 2. — An adjourned meeting of the above society will be held on the evening of Tuesday next, the 26th inst. Napier Brass Band. — We are requested to intimate that, owing to the absence and illness of several members of the Band, the performance announced for this evening will not take place. Poverty Bay. — S. Locke Esq., R.M., returned from Poverty Bay on the evening of Wednesday last. He had made arrangements for laying out the new. township and suburban land at Turanganui, occupying in all 700 acres, and had left Mr. Munro engaged in carrying out the work.
