SAMUEL DEIGHTON, Returning Officer. Dated this 4th day of October, 1869. 105 Leicester Bams for Sale. -| f\f\ TWO, four, and six tooth pure JL\/t-J bred RAMS. Some ten years ago, the originals of this flock (Rams and Ewes) were imported from the Home Country's best flocks at great cost ; since then, judicious importations of Rams from time to time from the old country, regardless of cost, has enabled the proprietor to rear his present unrivalled flock of lustre long wools, the clip of which, for years past, has commanded the top price in the London market. In addition to the pure breds, the proprietor has another long-wool flock descended, on the female side, from Merinos, now in most cases the fourth and fifth cross, which he wishes to call the attention of sheep-farmers to. The last year's hogget wool from this flock fetched as much as the Leicesters or Lincolns, and an inexperienced eye could scarcely detect the difference between the animals. On Wednesday, the 13th instant, any gentleman may attend the docking of this flock, and choose from 1000 long-wool RAM LAMBS, such animals as will effectually improve his flock both as to size, fattening qualities, and quantity as well as quality of wool. Terms on application, at unprecedentedly low rates, provided not less than fifty from this flock, or five from the pure bred flock, be chosen. Written applications to be sent in before the 13th instant, to the undersigned, for the Ram Lambs, or they will not be saved at docking. Many of the proprietors of the largest : stations in this Province have of late years ' used the Rams bred at Clive Grange to their own satisfaction and profit. JOSEPH RHODES.
