The N.Z.S.N. Co.'s s.b. Storm Bird, Doile, steamed for Wellington early on Saturday morning. | The Colonial Government gun* boat Sturt, Fairchild, took her departure tor Wairoa at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Colonial Government fum-boat St. Kilda, Fox, steamed for Wairoa early on Sunday rooming. Wo understand that the Sturt will bring tho Ngatiporou out from Wairoa to the St. Kilda, and: the latter vessel will convey them to their homes. The N.Z.S.N. Co.'s s.s. Wellington, Holmes, arrived iv the roadstead and anchored at 2.30 p.m, on Saturday. The Wellington left Auckland at 4.1S p.m. on Wednesday, 7th, from thenco to East Cape (which was passed at noon on the Bth) experienced moderate westerly winds. Off Tologa Bay, encountered a S.E. gale and thick weather. At midnight, hove tb and remained hove to till 0 a.m. on Friday, 9th ; came to anchor ioi* skelter uuder Mahia Peninsula at 8 a.m; ; left again at 6 a.tn. on Saturday, and arrived as above, having experienced from Mania Peninsula, southerly winds with heavy sea. ■ The Wellington steamed for Wellington at 7 p.m. The Star of the South was anchored at Wangawhai. << The s.b. Star of the South, Bendall, arrived and anchored in the roadstead on Saturday at .6 p.m. She left Auckland on Tuesday, 6th, at 11 p.m.; roubded East Gape on Wednesday at midnight ; met with strong 6.5. W. gale off Mania Peninsula,
