Veal calves sold readily ut full prices. Dairy cows were in good demand, and realised very hi*h figures. Young store stock commauued ready bait* ,at satisfactory rates. Fat sheep.— A fair supply were penned, and disposed of at a s-light- reduction 'tipoh last week's quotations. Store sheep.— The Kupyily was very small, owing to the low rates obtained during tho last few weeks. Fat pigs in brisk demand. ,„ , At the Junction Yards on Wednesday prices wore as follow :— Fat cattle ex ltangatira realised 32;. to 355, per lOOlbs. Provincial fat cattle, 335. to 30s. Store cattlo brought £5 and £8 por hoad. Springing cows lotilised from J2ll to £17. Fat sheep.— Boo were penned. The greater nqmbi-r were withdrawn, but were nearly all sold privately after the sale. Poverty Bay sheep fetched 15s. to 18s. ; hall'-breds, 10s 3d. to l_s. 3d. j meriuoes, Bs. Cd. to 10s. 6d. Store slieeii— A lot of inferior Napier merino rams in low condition were quitted at 3s. 9d. A number of pigs ex Rangatira found buyers afc from 325, to 625. od. $ also,' a lot of youug pigs at 19s>
