WilHam Cargill, barque, for London, al/oui April 25 Ahuriri, s.s., for Wellington and South" Sea Gull, brigantine, for Oamaru Excelsior, schooner, for Lyttelton %%>>-{& __mVs_s__ Thb schooner Excelsior, Smith, arrived intue roadstead at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and entered (die Iron Pot at 4p. m. Left Auckland on the 21st Fe bruary, and arrived at Russell, Bay of Islands, on th c 22nd. Left Russell on Friday, March 19; passed White Island on the 21st; off East Cape, on 22nd, snghted a schooner supposed to be the Success. Rounded Gable-End Foreland at 8 a.m. oa Tuesday, 22nd; at 8 p.m., off Mahia Peninsula under close reefed canvass; 24th, still blowing a gale with heavy sea, . sighted the Ahuriri and Star of the Sonth; on 24th shipped a heavy sea, which took tho galley and boat out of the lashings ; 25th, gale having moderated, rounded Portland Island, at 8 p.m. ; from thence experienced light winds, and arrived as above. Capt. Smith reports having experienced strong winds whilst crossing the Bay of Plenty. The brigantine Sea Gull, Rogers, is expected to complete discharging her inward cargo to-day. She will probably take her departure for Oamaru, with cargo ex William Cargill, and, it is expeoted, she will return from thence to load wool from this port for Auckland. The s.s. Ruahine arrived in Wellington on Sunday. The s.s. Wellington arrived in Wellington from Kaikouras yesterday morning. The s.s. Tararua, from Lyttelton, arrived in Wei- • lington on Sunday. 1 H.M.S. Blanche arrived from the Auckland Islands on Sunday.; The barque William Cargill completed the discharge of her inward cargo on Saturday. She commenced to load wool yesterday, and it is expected ! that she will take 1700 bales to fill her up.
