Weights for age. Consolation Handicap. — 20 soys, 1 mile and a distance. Entrance 2 soys. KULES. The Hawke's Bay Jockey Club Eules will be strictly adhered to. For weights for age, see published Eules. The first race to start on each day at one o'clock precisety. The bell will be rung quarter of an hour before each race. Three horses to start in each race, or only half tho public money will be given, except in tho Cup Race. Second horse to save his stake in each race when public money is given, except the Consolation. All entries to bo made under sealed cover, and to be addressed to the Secretary, at the Masonic Hotel, Napier, on Wednesday, 24th February, 1869, not later than 4 p.m. Age and description of horses, and colours of riders, to be stated at time of entry.
